Our Holy Land tour agency was founded to provide a high-quality, world-class tour for those who want to have a deeply educational and religious experience, as opposed to the cookie-cutter assembly line tours created to push the masses through as cheaply as possible. Sacred Space Tours has put together an experience unlike any other on the market, one established on principles of “best practices” according to peer-reviewed research in pilgrimage and religious tourism studies.
What Makes Us Different
We have observed that most American and Israeli tour agencies are staffed by people who know the tourism industry but have very little in-depth training and knowledge on the world of the Bible, Middle East history, or Judaism and Islam. Many tour guides hired by these agencies have no formal training about the land in which they are leading tours. Many of these guides are amateur Bible enthusiasts, religious day school teachers, or minor celebrities.
All of our tour guides at Sacred Space Tours have graduate training in a relevant field and/or have lived or conducted research in Israel-Palestine. We have carefully crafted the itinerary so as to ensure that the experience is a religious and educational experience, as opposed to simply an “interesting” experience filled with endless facts soon to be forgotten.

Pastor Jeff McCullough
Pastor Jeff is a Protestant, Evangelical Pastor with the Christian and Missionary Alliance. He is the creator of a YouTube channel called Hello Saints where he chronicles his journey learning about the LDS Church from a mainstream Christian perspective.
Dr Dan McClellan
Dr. Dan McClellan is a public scholar of the Bible and religion. Before transitioning to full-time work as a public scholar, Dan worked for ten years as a scripture translation supervisor for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has also worked as an adjunct instructor of Ancient Scripture at Brigham Young University
Ben Spackman
Ben Spackman is a PhD candidate in American Religious History at Claremont, specializing in how understanding of the Bible— especially Genesis— changed in the 20th century due to archaeological, textual, and scientific discoveries
Daniel Beecher
Daniel Beecher has been podcasting for well over a decade. His show Thank God I’m Atheist is one of the longest-running, and most popular atheism-themed podcasts in the podosphere, and was nominated for an Academy of Podcasting award.
Dr Trevan Hatch
Dr. Trevan G. Hatch is the Bible & Ancient Near East, Middle East, and Religious Studies specialist at the Lee Library at Brigham Young University. He is also a transfer professor in the Departments of Ancient Scripture and Middle East Studies
